Bidding farewell to our dear friends, we continued ambling north past the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour as well as the first sugar cane plantations of the trip. It is always exciting to see those because that means a warmer climate. Our destination for today was the the seaside town of Yamba which in at the mouth of the Clarence River. We last camped here at the Calypso Van Park many years ago in the Kimberly Kamper Trailer.

We ambled around Yamba this afternoon, including a pleasant walk along Yamba Beach as well as the headland and lighthouse overlooking the mouth of the Clarence.
