We enjoyed a fabulously full day catching up with my darling Grandson, Red (Drew). I think it must be 30 years since i was last in this amazing city. The riverside has been transformed and the city itself is totally unrecognisable. We wandered beside the beautiful riverside area near the Brisbane wheel. There were huge public swimming pools, a rainforest, meandering stream and even an awesome Nepalese Buddhist Temple to explore. We paused for lunch at Neo Sushi and of course I HAD to take a ride on the huge wheel!

In the afternoon we dropped Drew back home and returned to camp for awhile. We met up with Drew and his partner, Connor at the Bavarian Restaurant for dinner. There were awesome views of the river back up to the Story Bridge.
