It was just before sunrise when Rosie had me up and out on our walk. We were rewarded with a beautiful sunrise as our world woke up to the day.
We are now camped on a station out of Winton, called Oondooroo. Apart from the rise where the dinosaurs have been unearthed near Winton, the countryside has been flat with a huge horizon and arching blue sky.

We are loving it here at Oondooroo. We have sweeping views across just a small portion of the nearly 999,000 acres of this station. We were greeted upon our arrival by our host, Jason and his very efficient self appointed campground manager, Cecily the sausage dog!
There are impressive old stone buildings dating back to 1883, as well as a shearing shed, which is still in use. After lunch we took Rose for a wander to meet the resident horses, kids, sheep, galahs and the cutest little 4 week old cattle do puppies.
