Day 12 MOUNT ISA

TUESDAY 17 MAY

Today we were car-less as Linus spent most of the day having her radiator replaced. It was very peaceful relaxing at the Sunset Caravan Park, which is so aptly named. The sunsets have been spectacular here – almost as if they were arranged especially by the park. Rosie and I explored the banks of Breakaway Creek. Our neighbour, one of the more permanent residents, told me that they haven’t had much rain here, and the creek has hardly flowed. The reflections were impressive, though.
