8 July 2021 While we were enjoying our lovely camp fire last night we realised that the battery in the van was ‘on its last legs’. So our first mission upon setting up camp at the Barcaldine Showground was to find a battery outlet in town. We did detour first to the best bakery ever

Deb cooked us the most delicious camp oven damper I have ever eaten, as well as little pizza triangles. We did not need dinner last night This morning Rosie and I explored the many incredible old relics

28 June Sunshine greeted Rosie and me on our morning walk today. While I took photos of the sunny sky Rose discovered the muddy mangrove swamp! She … It was only 150 kilometers to our next camp at Mount Morgan. However, we did have to climb up a long, steep mountain with lots of twists
